Don't impress, just express.

Margaret began performing at a young age in various choirs, children's musical theater productions, straight plays, church services, and private events. Her initial vocal training consisted of a mixture of classical, musical theater, gospel, and pop/rock singing styles.

In college, graduate school, and post study she trained strictly in operatic vocal technique and has since performed in various opera productions throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, and Italy. She also performed often in the SF Opera On Tap monthly variety shows and productions.

Later Margaret has switched (vocal) gears and focused more on CCM (contemporary commercial music) singing styles such as pop/rock and jazz. She co-led the San Francisco based acappella groups, Vocal Edition, and Space Cats, as well as performed at a variety of Cabaret shows and private events.

Now Margaret lives in San Diego and has dived into the fun world of stand-up comedy! She currently performs musical stand-up comedy all over SoCal, and you can follow her on Instagram for more update to date posts and event info: margaretsingsfunny.
