Performance Background

Musical Theater to Opera to Pop/Rock

Margaret began performing at a young age in various choirs, children's musical theater productions, straight plays, church services, and private events. Her initial vocal training consisted of a mixture of classical, musical theater, gospel, and pop/rock singing styles.

In college, graduate school, and post study she trained strictly in operatic vocal technique and has since performed in various opera productions throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, and Italy. She also performed often in the SF Opera On Tap monthly variety shows and productions.

In more recent years Margaret has switched (vocal) gears and focused more on CCM (contemporary commercial music) singing styles such as pop/rock and jazz. She has sung in and co-led the San Francisco based acappella group, Vocal Edition, as well as performed at a variety of Cabaret shows and private events.

Margaret now lives in San Diego and continues to perform online and at various events in a myriad of vocal styles.
